Graduation Requirements Survey
The BFA Fairfax school board is taking some time this fall to examine our current graduation requirements. Our goal is to ensure that our graduation requirements are aligned with the BFA Fairfax school mission: “BFA Fairfax is committed to ensuring all students become informed, literate critical thinkers who demonstrate responsible social and civic behaviors.” As a part of the process we are inviting the community to provide input by taking a few minutes to complete an online survey. The survey is located directly at:
Your feed back if very important to this process; thank you in advance for taking some time to complete the survey. https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/viewform?formkey=dHZXaFg5TFdQY3FOS0h3NHc3QTBJUGc6MA
Bus Drop-Off Procedures for K-3 Students
In an effort to ensure the safety of students using the BFA Fairfax school buses the administration has determined that we need to clarify our expectations for bus drivers and parents/guardians regarding the transfer of the care of students under bus driver supervision to families.
Students K-3
The bus driver will transfer the care of students in grades K-3 and under into the care of an adult at the bus stop. If there is no adult at the bus stop the driver will radio back to the school's main office and request the personnel in the office attempt to contact the student's parent/guardian to alert them the bus is attempting to drop the student off. If this is not possible the driver will return the student to school where the parent/guardian will need to pick them up.
Students in grades 3 and under may be released from the care of the bus driver if they leave the bus with an older sibling or student designated by the parent. Students K-3
