Academy are available to the entire school community. The primary goal is to promote and enhance student learning through three broad areas of student development: academic development, career development and personal/social development. This goal is achieved through counseling (both individual and small group), consultation (with parents, staff, and administrators), coordination (counselors serve as a liaison between parents, school staff, support personnel, and community resources to facilitate successful student development), case management, classroom guidance and ongoing program evaluation and development.
The Guidance Office is also responsible for managing student records, student registrations and transfers, and student scheduling (Grades 7-12). Resources are available in the Guidance Office including information on parenting, post-secondary education, and career information.
Please feel free to stop in or call the Guidance Office (849-6711 ext. 2050)
