Educator Checklist: Level I License to Level II License
____Have the principal document two years of successful practice under the endorsement by completing the Transition from Level I to Level 2 License Form or a letter which addresses the information on this form (Click Here for Transition Form).
____Submit the completed State Department of Education License Renewal Form to the LSB Chairperson for approval according to the timelines in the Plan of Operation.
____Submit a copy of other credential(s) if required e.g., valid Vermont RN License, valid Vermont Driver's License, etc. Vermont Licensing Regulation 5432 Ad)
____For Trades and Industry educators, if applicable, submit form verifying satisfactory completion of the Technical Development Plan.
____Develop and submit a new IPDP for the next Level II renewal cycle (Click Here for IPDP Cover Sheet). New IPDP must be approved before the Board makes a recommendation for license renewal.
____After the Board returns the renewal form, check to see if it accurately reflects expectations about the Board's action.
____Mall the approved license renewal form, appropriate fee(s), and other required state forms to the Licensing Office for processing.
____Check the new license for accuracy and submit copies to the LSB and the superintendent.
