DESTRUCTION Of SPECIAL EDUCATIONAL RECORDS Bellows Free Academy in Fairfax, Vermont is planning to destroy special education records of students with birthdates January 1 ~ December 31, 1979 as the information is no longer relevant/needed for the student’s educational program. If you wish to have these records before they are destroyed, please contact the Guidance Office at the above address or telephone number within one month of the above date. After that time, these records will be destroyed. Please be advised that some of the information contained in Special Education files may be needed later on for other purposes such as eligibility for Social Security Disability benefits.
