Passion
Passion: How do you find it?

You will need to find your passions in life

It may take a while, but don’t give up on finding it.

However, don’t wait for it to find you.

You must go out and experience life; live, work, meet people, become involved in activities. Somewhere along the way those passions will appear, it is then up to you to work hard to achieve the success

          Furthering your education
          Working
          Having fun

Do not become a couch potato waiting for just the right situation to come looking for you because it wouldn’t happen. You have got to get out there and experience life

How?
Get away from relying on your parents as soon as possible
I don’t mean to run away now, I mean to become an adult you need to
find your own way without them. Yes for most of you they will always                        be there to help you out in some way but you need to find your own way     without them.

Work hard
Save for the future
Be honest and truthful

When you have a passion for something you can accomplish almost anything you want to. Passion gives you an underlying strength to achieve what you want. You will find ways around your handicaps because you have a passion, that very strong desire to have something you don’t have. An example was my passion for learning about strength and conditioning. With all my spelling and writing handicaps (never considered them handicaps, I just lived with them) I was able to get an “A” in a masters level cardiovascular physiology course. I studied a lot, I listened to recorded lectures on my drive to work and later while driving to the University of Maryland in order to “get it”, gain an understanding of the heart and its function with the body. Only because I had a passion for that knowledge and was not going to let anything get in the way of my learning. What you have done here at school has given you a foundation so that when you have a passion it will be easier to pursue that challenge. Unlike my limitations to learning. Even if you are like me don’t let those limitations get in your way. With a passion you will find a way to success. Just realize it is possible with a “can do” attitude.
