Are Here!
DCF
Get a head start before the students. Most of the DCF Nominees for next year are here and ready to be checked out. Jeanne LaClair and I will start promoting the books to students in May.
Red Clover
Want more time to read and discuss the 2011 Red Clover books? Look over the books now, and decide if you would like to use them for special activities or projects. I would be happy to collaborate.
Don’t have a Smart Board in you classroom, but would like to try one out? You are welcome to use the one in the library.
Studying Animals?
Check out PebbleGo! This database covers all sorts of animals, including dinosaurs. Each animal has 5 simple pages covering Body, Habitat, Food, Life Cycle, and Fun Facts. Maps, video, and sound are also included. Plus, audio is available for all text. Audience is K-3, but 4th graders would like it too. I would be happy to show you and your class how to use it!
