Yesterday, our elementary students enjoyed an exciting day of fun and friendly competition at our annual Field Day! From relay races to team challenges, students showed great sportsmanship, enthusiasm, and school spirit throughout the day.
A special thank you to Mr. Taylor for organizing this beloved annual event and helping create lasting memories for our students. We appreciate all the planning and effort that goes into making Field Day such a success each year!

Modeled after a collegiate athletic signing day, this special event gave graduating students the opportunity to sign letters of intent with their future employers and celebrate the exciting next chapter of their careers.
We are especially proud of BFA Fairfax students Kristoffer Mummert and Myleigh Jones, who were among those honored at the event. Through their dedication and commitment to career and technical education, they have positioned themselves for success as they transition from the classroom to the workforce.
Representatives from 19 local businesses—including construction companies, salons, and other industry partners—were on hand to support these students and recognize the valuable skills they have developed through NCTC's career-specific programs and work-based learning experiences.

I just wanted to thank everyone for a very rewarding and successful trip to Montreal! Thank you to our amazing bus driver Dell, who is always willing to take students across the border, thank you to the BFA trustees, whose generosity helped fund the trip, thank you to the students in Conversation for Travel who planned the trip as part of their course, and of course thank you to the students who participated, you were wonderful travel companions and excellent representatives of our community. Students were polite, respectful, punctual, and enthusiastic, whether it was exploring the art at the museum or practicing their French in the food court and at stores. Bravo and merci to everyone! I hope you all have the chance to visit Montreal again soon!
